
I had a hankering, so I invented a ketofied version of Sloppy Joes.
Fry 2 lbs ground beef (or any ground meat) with a diced onion and a diced bell pepper.
Add 4 tsp red wine vinegar, 4 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce, 2 TB tomato paste, scoop of stevia (or any sweetener equivalent to a tsp of sugar).
This makes 4 servings @ 14g total carbs (10g net), 63g of protein, 26g of fat and 552 calories.
I find this very, very yummy served over zucchini/zoodles. It’d probably work over riced cauliflower too.
As for salad… well, I’d do a side salad, I’m not sure this would go directly on top of a salad very well, but YMMV…
I had with a small side salad a couple days and a bowl of cole slaw other days.
